We just put the cartridge back, close the cover, and leave it overnight or for 12 hours. Now, the printhead is filled with cleaning solutions. Your goal is not to flush everything out of the system. Remember, your goal is to put those red cleaning solutions inside the printhead and leave them there. Now, I'm going to switch to the smaller tip and do the rest of the colors. To do this, you need to have even pressure. Not only do you need to stop the leaking from the top, but you also need to stop the leaking from the bottom. This piece of the black washer is a sandwich between your tip and the base. If you don't have even pressure, you're going to see the juice come out all around it.
